As you know, I had a baby boy recently. In addition to taking photos of my beautiful baby boy, I thought it would be cool to create a video also. I’ve kept in touch with my wedding videographer so I called her up and asked if she would do a baby announcement video. Just by chance, it was something she was trying to branch into so she was thrilled to do it for us.

I can’t give more accolades to Danielle. She is truly great as what she does and she will always be the first videographer I would recommend. Well, I’m sure you’re all just waiting to see the video. You can go to Danielle’s website at Lucky Productions Video to check it out.

I just got into stock photography and after all my research on which stock agency to choose and finally on deciding on Photoshelter, it’s going to close down.  Not to freak anyone out, it’s just there stock collection business that will be closing down.  While it’s not really that big of a deal, I now have to go out and find another one. I think I’m going to check out alamy.com.  I hear good things about them.

I am pleased to announce my son to the world with his first photo shoot. Brandon was born on November 18th, weighing in at 8.7lbs. He’s my first child and I’m just so excited to have him in my life. I think he’s one handsome devil but I’m obviously biased.

I got wind of this story and thought I would share it here.  The story is by photojournalist James Nachtwey.  He is considered by many to be the greatest war photographer in our era.

We’re expecting our first child this November. Luckily my wife allowed me to take some maternity pictures of her. I think the pictures came out great and she loves them.
